MARK FAST: LONDON A/W11

“Things are not what they seem to be, they are mysterious and disguised. I used the energy of the movement of a wolf’s vicious anger to be projected into the cuts of the knitted pieces and the leather garments. I am using merino wool and elastomeric mixes in the knited dresses. I wanted to create a softer, warmer silhouette. i also used leathers to evoke the strictness and attitude of this woman.” To summarise, this is about “a wolf in sheep’s clothing.” Which it kinda was. There was slouchy, loose, ‘dodgy’ eighties leather, shape that was more 3D than the usual skintight silhouette, accordion pleats all rendered in wool. Really simple, clean and strong.
